Tristan and Lisa met over a dinner where she was an one time escort for a friend. She was told that she could make enough money to take care of her child and herself. Lisa's soon to be ex husband was being a total jerk. Tristan could tell that this was not Lisa's life. If she would agree to accompany him to a charity event he would pay her with no strings attached. Lisa's jerk of a husband shows up and Tristan sees the way things are. He offers to help Lisa if she takes him up on his offer.
Stephen is a Triffling Good for Nothing, man, who would rather see his child in poverty, just to get back at his ex wife. That is a sorry person! Good thing Lisa has a friend like Cynthia who keeps it real at all times!
This could have so much better. At time the flow was ok for the most part but at times it felt rushed. Plenty of opportunities to add more to the story but they were missed. Lisa was a bit Irritating when it came to her analyzing and/or trying to justify her ex behavior and him having a relationship with his daughter. Steven was a straight up butt head and I would have liked the story to have included how Tristan was able to circumvent his drive to the top - one way being Tristan buying the firm where he worked so that he can experience what it is like to become desperate when trying to provide for your children. I have to give it to Tristan and his patience with Lisa. Overall it was okay read but too short.
