My favorite chapter was the one about Angie Lee, and her dislike of dogs. Dave wrote it like they scared her, but at the end, there was a footnote explaining her point of view. It was brilliant. And the one that left me with a burning question was Reaper Makes Three. I keep wondering, what happened to Darryl and Lincoln?
Dave has chosen some great stories to share, and I agree that it shows his personal journey from young hotshot to senior service provider. I would have liked to have seen a little more background info for those of us who aren't so familiar with the terminology, but that's a style choice.
Overall, it's a great look into the lifestyle - maybe a little too "behind the curtain" for some - of a volunteer.
