Listen, I really wouldn't know if this is the best or not because I was not raised on Indian food but I know what I like and when something tastes good and their products make my food taste just like my friends food that are from India when they cook so to me, it makes my food taste like the real thing and like as if I actually know what I am doing. My native friends are impressed with my cooking. They cant tell the difference on a few of the dishes I make from mine and their own. The wives ask me how I make it and I tell them I can't say because it is an old family recipe. We all laugh because they are from India and I am of German decent. Good times, good friends and good food.

The package arrived yesterday with super care by the driver going through the gate and placing it outside of my door. This morning just now I opened the bottle and the lid just flipped off the bottle without my effort. The lid was broken with the protective seal remained inside the lid. The ginger powder spilled out.
I was surprised this heavy bottle was sent in the plastic envelop instead of a box with some support stuff inside. The driver was great. It must have happened along the way. This is the first time it happened to me in my long history of being your customer.

As with other customers I had the issue with the order.
I bought both, Turmeric and Cinnamon. Here is my experience:
The price is great for the amount advertised. In one description of the item you get two conflicting information: Pride Of India - Organic Turmeric Ground, Half Pound & Flavour Name:Organic Turmeric Ground,22 oz (623 gm)
When you pick the flavour it is listed as 22oz, the picture shows Large Dual Sifting Food Grade Jar (as per description) also stating 22oz on the label. However what I have received was a resealable bag with only 8oz of product.
The good thing about it was that I was able to receive full refund from Amazon for this order. However it's very difficult to present your case as the heading of the item states half pound, while only in the drop down menu it states 22oz.
Regarding Cinnamon, it is supposed to be 16oz. No conflicting info there. I purchased two. One came exactly as shown and described. The other (strangely in a separate shipment) came in a resealable bag with half the amount paid for. It was only 8oz bag.
Very disappointing; while the product may be good, you're dealing with an ordeal of getting a refund because you've been unknowingly charged for half the amount you thought you were buying. :/
