She dives right back in where she left off in Primal Hunger.
Lots of tension, magic, and mystery. Savannah is pissed when Andre finally gets back, and he's still trying to do the right thing in his mind. The question is, will they figure out what that is?
Not only that, but what dark magic is trying to push it's way into the pack's border?
This was a great addition to the world McMinimy has built.
The pack needs to be saved from dark magic that is causing a terrible thing to happen. Along with the death of a member. One kitsune sister is at the center of it all.
I still want more of all of Magen's paranormals. She just sucks you in to the stories and you get hooked on them.
Andre ends up going back to the pack after leaving for a while. He and Savannah are not on the best term, which makes it difficult for them to work together, but when a dark magic threatens their pack they team up to defeat the evil.
What I found was the biggest issue between Andre and Savannah was their stubbornness. Neither wanted to be the first to put their heart and emotions out there, both worried about rejection. Once the situation is a little more dire secrets come out
When things go down Andre's family can't help but come give their support bringing everyone together again.
The thing about these books is every part of the story is important, and can give away too much.
It's been four months since the last book, and Andre Da'Roza is grieving over having to leave Savannah. Savannah equally is grieving, though her process involves more anger than Andre's. When they are forced back to each other, what will fly? Clothes or claws? But there's no time for that (what am I saying? Of COURSE there's time for that!) as a new threat comes to the North American Pack's Montana Faction, putting not only Andre and Savannah in danger, but all of the pack. Forcing their issues aside, they have to work together to fix things before it hits the fan in a seriously messy way.
There's a little bitterness in me about this book, since it's the LAST of the series...which makes me sad and glad at the same time. Sad because it's over and glad because it ended on a very high note. Though I'd definitely love more of these characters, the ending is as it should be. But should they ever come back I'd LOVE to read more!
