•There is no doubt our stuff works!!!?However, everyone's body chemistry is a little different. Some people may have a baking soda sensitivity. We have some testimonies of people who have that body chemistry issue and have worked through it, by switching to some of our more sensitive products.

Twist the bottom of the stick. Lightly apply to each pit. A little goes along way.

Stained Clothes :(

I typically use Alvera's Aloe & Almonds deoderant, but was hoping for something a little more potent and unscented during the summer months. I did a lot of reading up on this deodorant after the receptionist at a doctor's office recommended it. I do have pretty sensitive skin, and if I recall correctly, this didn't irritate much, but it WOULD NOT WASH OUT of the armpits of my clothes, and, I assume due to the coconut oil & beeswax content, left this sort of...grease stain? and also this whitish film on the underarm parts of my clothes--but not just on the inside. It's been impossible to get out of some of my clothes, and others it has taken months of washing (and not using this product).

I really wanted to love this, so it's been a disappointment, but I finally decided it was not worth it and stopped using it.

I had raved about this deodorant in the past (well, the kind in the container, not the stick), but I need to edit my other review. While it certainly does help eliminate any odor, it has suddenly left me with a terrible rash, very similar to the pictures of what other people have posted on here. *IF* you do decide to try this deodorant though, I would definitely recommend getting it in the container and not the stick. The stick kind is nearly impossible to use when it's cold - it basically freezes and is extremely difficult to apply.

I've tried a number of natural deodorants and so far this one has been the best! I've been using this for 2 and a half weeks so far and the only days I've had a problem with bo has been the days I don't apply it. Even the days I don't get to take a shower but still apply before starting my day and then working outside in 70 degree weather, it still held strong. It's been a real struggle to find a deodorant that can stand up against pregnancy and postpartum hormones but I'm so happy now that I can be around people and not worry about stinking. I purchased the unscented kind so I just don't smell which is perfectly fine with me.

Stops odor DEAD - but leaves yellow stains on your shirts!

I found this product at a natural health store on the recommendation of an employee. I tried Tom's and many other natural deodorants but NONE worked. Well, this one stopped odor ALL DAY and it stays on even after hard work-outs at the gym. I vaguely remembered some kind of rash when I first started using it (though it also may have been other products I was trying), but haven't had any reactions since and I've been happily buying it for years now....HOWEVER! I'm going to have to try and find another deodorant for the simple reason that this product leaves oily yellow smears under all my white shirts!!! I have learned to apply a very thin layer (which is really all you need for it to be fully effective), but even this has resulted in many, many ruined white and light-colored shirts. Some are expensive and living in California, this is a real issue for me. I really hate to give it up because it has been so darn effective, but I am just tired of turning my good T-shirts into rags or night shirts!

I've bought two versions of Primal Pit Paste - Unscented and Lavender. Both do a really good job from not letting me smell but I prefer the Unscented versus the Lavender. I can't say they do a great job at keeping me dry, more on that in a minute. The lavender smells absolutely wonderful at first but after a while, it doesn't mix well with MY pits after sweating. I wore this through the summer heats and after it would mix with my smelly little self, I was embarrassed to even lift my arms. I could NOT stand the mixture smell = my stank and lavender. I gave it another go by purchasing the unscented version with the best of hopes. I don't have to worry about the mixing of fragrances and it keeps me neutral. I'm A-OK with neutral and prefer that among other things. I apply twice a day - morning and night. With regards to keeping me dry, neither have done a great job. I sweat. I was first introduced to medicated deodorant before it was a thing in the grocery stores and have even tried the "over-counter" versions. While the medicated deodorant kept me dry, I didn't like the overall affects and I would still smell. Every over the counter deodorant that I've tried, has that icky mixture smell and no one likes those white streaks from "invisible" solids. Lets me honest. It takes awhile to get the hang of actually applying primal pit paste. For both of my applications, I make sure my pits are clean and DRY before holding the stick to my skin (to heat up a bit) and apply the stick with a light coverage. You don't have to get heavy. Allow a minute or so for it to settle and go about your day. This is what I do and it hasn't caused me too many issues. This product has been my saving grace against SMELL versus DRY. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has a stank, life myself. While it didn't do a great job a keeping ME dry, I can't say that it doesn't work in that regard for anyone else.

This product was just OK to me....I was super excited to try it especially bc it was mentioned in my fitness group. I ordered unscented to see the potential of the formula, instead of potentially letting a fragrance cover any funk up lol, especially when it comes to natural deodorant...things can get quite tricky! I loved that it's designed to be a stick deodorant, but that's about all I loved about this product! I believe it gave me a rash that took a few weeks to muscle through which I did not appreciate. Ugh!

Pros: it's natural, it's unscented
Cons: it's a waxy consistency and it never dries up; even though its unscented, the waxy smell is hard to differentiate from a sweaty smell so in it quite sure if it worked for me. It doesn't last overnight, I'm sweaty and I have to wash and reapply in the morning or its doomsday for the community of people I will hug that day lol

I will not be repurchasing!
