He querido comprar este libro por años, y con solo unas horas después de comprarlo para Kindle, lo devolví. Como obra lingüística, es paupérrima. No describe la calidad de los sonidos que reconstruye: asume que con poner las letras en español basta. No hay para nada una descripción de la fonotáctica del idioma. Si el acento prosódico importa, no lo dice, y tampoco dice cómo funciona. La ortografía es arbitraria e incosistente y no es útil para aprender. Aunque entiendo que es un libro con fines didácticos, al ser una reconstrucción, creo que debe pasarse un poco más de tiempo discutiendo la justificación de las elecciones y las posibles variantes. Lamento escribir algo tan duro sobre una obra de un hermano internacionalista, que sin duda quiso hacer el bien, pero con sus credenciales debe saber que hay estándares más altos y mínimos que debe de cumplir.
