It's good but there are a few tips you really need to follow in order to get the most out of your cold brew.
-Pour your coffee grinds in the middle strainer only about 2/3rds full.
-Slowly add your water on top of them. When the pitcher is about 2/3rds full of water stop pouring.
-Grab a long spoon or utensil and stir around the coffee grounds well. You will notice the water getting darker now.
-Once all the grinds are thoroughly mixed and saturated, add more grinds to the top (the more you add, the stronger the coffee will be).
-Slowly add more water to the new grinds on top and stir again going about halfway down.
-Let steep overnight.
-Before drinking in the morning, pour a large cup of cold brew and instead of drinking the first cup, open your grinds strainer and pour that cup of cold brew back over the grinds.
-You can now enjoy a cup of strong and very well mixed cold brew.
The reason you want to do all of this is to get a nice dark strong cold brew. The coffee grinds become compacted in the strainer and water cannot penetrate them completely, even when sitting overnight. You'll notice it by the color of the water. The first couple of times we made the cold brew it was weak and the color of tea versus dark coffee. When you mix the grinds and saturate at the same time, it allows the water to soak into all of the grinds. You *could* skip the last step before drinking but the reason I pour the first cup back over the grinds is to fully mix the coffee up so you aren't getting a weaker cup from the top and a stronger cup from the bottom where the flavor sunk down to. How To Make The Perfect Cold Brew Coffee

Place ground coffee beans in the brew filter. For best results, use fresh roasted, coarsely ground coffee. The reusable brew filter holds up to 16 tbps. of coffee. |
Insert brew filter inside carafe and slowly pour 2 cups of water over coffee to dampen. Once coffee is damp fill the remainder of the carafe with water. |
Tighten lid and place in refrigerator to cold brew for up to 24 hours (strength is related to brew time). For ultimate flavor extraction, stir grounds during brewing process. |
After you are done remove the mesh brew filter from carafe. Easily remove the bottom lid to release used coffee grounds. Always remove brew filter before pouring coffee. |

Instructions super détaillées, ce qui est un plus. Or, pour faire le café, vous êtes mieux de ne pas être pressé, car c'est long en maudit de faire passer l'eau au travers du filtre et du café. On en vient à faire ça autrement que la procédure suggéré par le vendeur. Sinon, je ne trippe pas sur le goût du café infusé froid. J'ai l'habitude de me faire un café froid à partir de pods expresso que je refroidi avec des glaces et du lait d'avoine. Avec ça, ça goûte le vieux café frettte! Mais, c'est pas la faute du vendeur. C'est une question de goût. Actuellement, je l'utilise avec des citrons et des limes, c'est pratique!
