I didn’t think it would be possible to outdo the previous books in this series since each is uniquely special, and outstanding, but this series just keep getting better. Its even more awe inspiring that the whole series started with a book that in it self was carving out a whole new niche within this genre. Comparing this to other books in the genre is like comparing a all stars team to a local buddy team, both might be good but they certainly dont play in the same division.

There's nothing to fear in the shadows - you should fear the shadows themselves. A man who can control shadows is terrorising the magical community of London. Performing a grand ritual that could rip the very fabric of reality apart. Rafe and Ana are reluctant to investigate, it's definitely not their kinda gig - too apocalyptic for their liking. But when they discover their connection to the Prince of Darkness, they find themselves pulled in to his scheme whether they like it or not. Because the Shadowmancer is not working alone. Someone is pulling the strings. And the only way they can find out who, is to bring the entire world to the brink of oblivion.
Ana getting more powerful as they advanced but still not fully knowing what's going on with herself and other she meet's. Rafe hiding stuff I can feel it big time and we learn something about his pasted with Prince of darkness aka Jules. And I'm happy with the out come with his family and thank god Ana followed her gut about the case. It does have bisexual couple in it but no sex which is good thing that's not my cup of tea to read. But no worries loved the couple and their son who was part of the case.
I did come a crossed few errors with the editing like with double words here and there. This is second series never had problem with editing I like to add. Even with few hiccups doesn't pause or stop the flow of the reading.
I received a copy for an honest opinion
