"Melanie Bowles is Senior Lecturer in Digital Textiles Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, London, with more than 15 years' teaching experience. She is also a textile designer and researcher and has sold and exhibited her work internationally.

The People's Print is an open source online community for like-minded people who have a passion for textile design. Founded by Melanie Bowles and Dr Emma Neuberg, Director of the Slow Design School,they devise, design and run pioneering workshops that combine traditional and digital techniques to create beautiful textile designs. They also create inspirational step by step tutorials for independent learning."
