I can't really speak to the pencils just yet because I just got them. I wanted something with a softer lead that would give me a smoother result when doing skin and these were highly recommended. I will update the review later, but I really wanted to share a picture of the colors you are getting. Obviously colors will look different in person and vary by computer screen but it's a good guideline.

The pencils themselves are smooth, soft and easily blendable. I have tried blending with a clear blending pencil as well as with odorless thinner and they both worked easily.
I am adding two drawings I have done, the second having been done on terrible paper that tore through a little at the top, but hopefully it will help with seeing some of the colors. I recommend this set for anyone looking to do portraits or just building the supplies a little at a time.

I am very much a beginner at art in general, but even more so with colored pencils. I had gotten the 24 pack to learn with, but then I wanted to try giving portraits a try. This is a great start for someone like me, building up there supplies. It has a pretty good range for different skin tones. I have had fun working with this set. Of course, now I want every color! If you are going to purchase these pencils I would recomend buying the Official Prisma Sharpener as well. I've noticed in a few reviews - People have had issues with the lead breaking. I bought the sharpener along with the pencils and haven't had any problems what so ever.
Today I ordered the 48 pack along with the Official Prisma Blender Pencils. I will post a review after trying them and you keep you guys updated.
Its definitely worth the money. Even if you purchase the starter pack to give it a try.

This is the second box I bought first box was brilliant sadly this one was a complete disappointment, when I went to use had to sharpen pencils which is fine but unfortunately some of the crayons kept breaking (see photo this was the result after I managed to sharpen) I assume this was due to packaging not be sufficiently appropriate for the job sadly I bought the crayons last year and have only just used up my 1st book otherwise I would have returned them. I can’t find anywhere on amazon to complain directly to them regarding packaging leading to my problem. This has made purchase price expensive due to waste/breakages😞
