Biggest Weakness and 0 Star: Head Band: Pro Ears use the same headband across their whole product line, from $30 to $350 ones. Every one uses the same, cheap, hard, brittle plastic head band. It will break on you because its simple material science: cheap grade hard plastic do not bend, they break. Don't take just my word for it, go to their website and read the reviews under the replacement head band. I used my Pro Ears about 6 times when it broke on me on the range.
Second problem: Warranty: For premium price on a Made in USA product, I expect quality and a company that stands behind it. Not the case here. This is a company that hides behind the Fine Print. Their 5 year warranty does not cover the head band, 5 years is for electronics only. Everything else is only 1 year. But what is insane is that the free warranty is only truly free the first 3 months. Between 91 days and 1 year, you have to pay $29.95 for any Warranty work. After 1 year, you are on your own. As their customer service pointed out to me "you should have read the warranty information first". I have dealt with some other barely english speaking, fly-by-night foreign vendors on Amazon before that offers better customer service than this company. BTW, the headband is $18 plus $5 S&H to a total of $23, which made the warranty claim moot after the first 3 months.Read more ›
I broke a headband quite easily, and found that a metal headband is offered for several cheaper pro ears models, but not for these, so I've got another plastic one. After about a year or so of use, the earcups and even the replacement headband have begun to deteriorate considerably on the leather parts. I will purchase replacement parts, because these are quite literally the single highest nrr rated headset I could find anywhere online offering audio playback capabilities. I only can't offer a five star rating here, because I have had these for too short a period of time in my opinion to need to be replacing so much

Well built. Good reduction in sound. Good for indoor range , as advertised.
Best for non rifle applications, but I have no problem as some others have had. Read more
Its funny because if you looked at just the ratings, one would think the Howard Leight ear protection is better, when you can't even hold a candle to this. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Zputz
Product seems to work. Haven't tried it at the range yet. But have tried to register the product unsuccessfully. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Harley Hogrider
