i knew it was a petty gift, but it was more of a throw in then a primary gift and i got the idea because i knew he frequented the site.
long story short, he opened it and seen what it was and he threw it on the ground and did not look too happy. i said, honey, what's the matter? and he said, this guy is a low down dirty thief who steals peoples ideas and rights books with it. i was like what the heck are you talking about? i thought you like that place? he said, yeah when i want a good laugh.
he went on to tell me that the guy is not even in the trade and never was and he is just some poser trying to look and act the part.
his site is like a phishing site for information and all the guy does is ask question after question and if you ask him a question all you get is crickets.
bottom line is, the book would serve a better use as toilet paper or a fire starter because none of the information is verified he just wrote a book based on what information he gets from a bunch of strangers and wannabe landscapers that all claim to be huge companies when in fact are probably cutting their grandma's lawn with a murray mower they bought at Kmart to compensate her for letting them live in her basement.
please do yourself a favor and buy a Dr. Seus book instead because i would stand a better chance learning how to perform successful brain surgery reading green eggs and ham with a assistant named sam i am then learn anything about the professional landscape industry.
don't take my word for it, throw some money away and see for yourself and if you do just remember this after you read it. ha ha ha ha i told you so.
amazon, you have always done me right but you need to screen your products before you put your name on them.
P.S. it only got 1 star because it had to have one to give the review and if i could i would give it a minus 2 stars.
yours truly a disappoint housewife.
