Inconsistent Quality & Welds

This jack stands seem fairly sturdy but the welds are not consistent and appear to be of questionable quality because they exhibit porosity. The center column, ratchets, and saddle are good and there are no defects. The center column fits well in the stand and locks securely. Both safety pins fit their slots and are effective at locking the center column. The stands would be better if the welds were quality and similiar between the two stands. In the stand on the left there appears to possibly be a missing weld on the underside at the top portion of the stand near where the bottom of the center column enters the stand. The stands are level on my floor, but when laid on their sides one stand (the left one) is not level. Lastly, the corner reinforcements on the jack are not welded on straight which results in a less effective reinforcement.By Mike on October 16, 2019

Poor Welds & Quality Control

Pretty disappointed. The finish is great, and they look very nice. But ultimately, the structure is no good in my book. Poor welds that look like they were blown out by amateurs. I didn’t even bother moving them more than 5 feet from the packaging, I just packed them right back up and started a return. For all I know, they would have held up for years to come. However, seeing complete holes and gaps where a solid weld should be is a no go for me - not when they’re holding several tons of steel above my head. Will be buying elsewhere, I don’t trust a company with poor craftsmanship and quality control like this. Unusable.

One jack stand rocks on two legs because it doesn't sit flat on the ground.. Welding on top looks questionable. One of the uprights does not fall freely when the handle is completely lifted; the teeth catch all the way down. Paint is discolored with yellow stain. Too light weight for 3 tons stands, in my opinion. Minor paint chips.

Bought this after much research for my Civic. Arrived very quick and in good order except it was missing the locking pin on one of the jack stands. The pin safety lock was the reason I bought this brand. There is a chain attached to the jack stand itself with a pin at the other end so it doesn't get lost. Great idea. The other jack did not have a pin, chain or loop. I would accept the order as is if I received the pin. It is an essential component, especially with the recalls on other brands without the lock pin. Other than that, this is an excellent product. Very sturdy and well made.
