This stand offers something most companies don't: A cheap stand. And, to be honest, that is what you get. The telescoping rod is pretty wobbly in the base. I just use this to hold my microphone for at-home recording, but I don't if it would hold up in live shows and going on the road. I say if you need something sturdy, extend your budget and grab something more solid.
