Sports Medicine Roller 13 x 6 inch / 24 x 6 inch
The ProSource Sports Medicine Roller is perfect for post-workout recovery, improving mobility, and reducing pain from tight muscles. The firm yet flexible texture helps to release trigger points and relax tight muscles while improving blood circulation. A grid of multiple density zones with bumps and grooves offers a varied massage, similar to the palm and finger-tip-like massage from a masseuse. The EVA foam-filled interior provides a sturdier roller for a long-lasting product you can count on. Great for athletes, yogis, CrossFit lovers, or anyone with muscle tension.
- Reduces pain and helps relax tight muscles
- Improves flexibility and recovery time
- Releases knots in back, thighs, glutes, calves, IT band
- Solid interior for durability
- 24 inch x 6 inch provides the best coverage
- 13 inch x 6 inch size is travel-friendly & convenient
Multiple Density Zones
Deeply massages and stretches tight muscles using multiple sizes of flexible bumps to reach between tissue. The variation is Ideal for releasing trigger points in commonly painful areas like the back and calves. This is a great progression for beginner to intermediate users who are comfortable with foam rolling and ready for a stronger tool.
2 Comfortable Sizes
The convenient 13 inch x 6 inch half-size roller doesn’t take up much space, so you can easily store it at home, keep it at the office, take to the gym, or carry in your luggage. 24 inch x 6 inch size is perfect for full back coverage, lying on vertically for posture correction and chest stretching.
Both sizes are great for massaging major muscle groups.
Built with high performance and durability in mind, ProSource rollers offer a superior design with a strong, EVA foam-filled center. The solid interior prevents cracks or breaking under heavy pressure for safe, long term use and dependability.
Some trigger points are too deep or in areas of the body that are hard to reach where smooth foam rollers just can’t penetrate (such as around shoulder blades, calves, or hips). For that reason, the Sports Medicine Roller is much more effective for those with tough knots or consistently tight muscles. Regular use helps speed recovery time after workouts, improves blood circulation and flexibility, reduces soreness, and helps correct muscle imbalances.
Use and Application
Foam rolling can be done pre-workout to help warm up muscles, but is ideal after working out to relax and stretch tight areas and prevent knots. This helps reduce soreness as well by circulating blood to get oxygen and nutrients to tired muscles. Hold the roller on tender spots for at least 20 seconds. Also a great way to start or end your day!
Foam Roller Exercises
Foam rollers can be used on almost any area of your body to help reduce muscle pain and discomfort. Lie across it on your upper back with hands supporting your head to reverse hunched shoulders, or lie on it vertically along your spine. Roll out your IT band, inner thigh, quadriceps, hamstrings and calves – great for runners and those who workout with heavy weights. Also great for glutes, lats, chest and feet.

Improved Design: The Sports Medicine Foam Roller is a critical pre-and-post-workout tool for any athlete to aid recovery and reduce soreness. ProSource updated our design to give you a superior foam roller which offers a strong, EVA foam-filled center. The solid interior prevents cracks or breaking under heavy weight, unlike many rollers on the market, for safe, long-term use and dependability. Use pre-workout to prepare your muscles to safely move in their full range of motion, and decrease the risk of injury. Use post-workout and on recovery, days to relieve tightness, release lactic acid build-up, and increase flexibility. A grid of medium-firm bumps and grooves offers a variety of density zones to massage and stretch muscle fibers. Foam rollers can be used on various body parts to reduce pain and promote flexibility, including your quads, hamstrings, adductors, IT band, calves, shins, glutes, upper back, pecs, lats, feet, and hip flexors.
Benefits: ProSource’s Sports Medicine Foam Roller is ideal for self-myofascial release, or self-massage, to help alleviate painful knots, promote muscle relaxation, and improve range of motion. Evenly spaced large and small bumps provide various contact points which mimic a masseuse’s finger-tip and forearm/palm massage. The targeted pressure provides a sense of relief by reducing pain in tight muscles and increasing blood flow for greater mobility and performance. Two density zones are perfectly balanced in our sports medicine roller for the most comfortable exercise routine. The customized design makes it ideal for intermediate and experienced users who are ready to advance to a deeper massage.

Top Customer Reviews
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the bumps are entirely too soft to actually have an effect. I was envisioning firm nodules on the roller that would really press into my muscles and help release tension. There's no firmness to these at all. They are soft and squishy, but I still get relief so it doesn't spoil my experience. When I really need a concentrated bit of pressure, I'll place a tennis ball on the floor and lay back against it until it hits my tender points. I hear a lacrosse ball works well too.
Overall, if something were to happen to mine, I would come back and buy again without hesitation.
I should have suspected this, but just assumed that the product was tested and designed in such a way that this wasn't an issue.
It is still a good product, but the "dead spots" in the rolling are kind of annoying, especially when you're using it on a body part that doesn't give you lots of leverage to push/pull strongly.
I will keep it since it's already here, but I honestly prefer the $10 basic black foam roller I purchased after this.
