I also bought Proactiv MD from the Proactiv website. Super excited to try it, the 1st 2 days were great. Soft and even brighter skin! Until day 3, when I was using the deep cleansing wash my face was burning ON FIRE. Used the toner, then moisturizer (thinking it was soothe the burning) no, it made it worse! I started getting red splotches on my right cheek and just thought it was a slight rash from switching facial products. Thinking it would get better, I used it that night and I was literally crying my face was burning so bad. My face started peeling, super dry. Tried multiple moisturizers, lotion, and aloe to ease the burning and dryness. When I woke up in the morning, this is what my face looked like:
I had called Proactiv telling them what had happened (not mad) but staying open-minded because I truly thought this wouldn't happen the way it did, and what made me mad was the customer service. She was irritated I asked for a refund (barely making a dent in the bottles from use) and they had an additional balance that I totally did not have or buy anything else. At that point I was getting upset. I canceled my account F O R E V E R. I ended up getting refund and my balance back to $0.
What the heck is truly in this product? This is horrible.
