Amazon Downloader needed to download from the Cloudplayer did not work on our computer. We e-mailed Amazon and got a reply the same day. The "help" e-mailed for the download problem we experienced, however, was just short of an insult, it did not even address the problem described, instead we received a long general troubleshooting text that is already available elsewhere on the website. After some searching on the web we figured out that the latest Amazon Downloader does not actually work on Mac OS 10.4.11
Now we installed an older version of the Downloader, which works fine, except that we constantly get reminded now to update to the latest version (which does not work). We will not be buying more music here until they fix that problem.
Wouldn't it be a great idea if one could actually pick the version of the downloader that matches your operating system? Apparently a lot of other customers are having the same problem.
