This is another great! find.considered by many to be the father of pan Africanism Dr.delany's political destiny on the American continent is well known and referred to by most scholars, but few acknowledge(and I've only seen them printed fully once!) the platform or declaration of sentiments also created by delany.the platform, similar to garvey's declaration of rights are thirty-one important points or guidelines necessary for one's racial survival and advancement (the reason he's known as the father of black nationalism) and although some of the points are outdated many of them are not.even at the time he was made a major (why he's mostly known.)he was still following these rules.this is a great find and would make a good companion read to his other books condition, elevation and Blake.
