Proctor Silex Easy Mix Hand Mixer
Simple, powerful mixing.
Whether you're mixing ingredients for a cake or beating butter for the frosting, the Proctor Silex Easy Mix Hand Mixer makes preparation easy and saves you valuable time in the kitchen. A built in bowl rest eliminates messy drips by letting you set the mixer on the edge of the bowl when adding ingredients. The Easy Mix Hand Mixer has five speeds, making it ideal for mixing, stirring, beating, and whipping. With one quick press the mixer ejects the beaters for simple cleanup. And its compact size makes it perfect for small spaces and easy storage.
- Bowl Rest feature
- 100 Watts
- 5 speeds
- Beater eject
Gently fold in your banana bread’s dry ingredients gently using the lowest speed, or whip perfect peaks of sweet cream with the highest. With five speeds, you can mix, stir, beat and whip.
Take a pause to read the recipe or add the next ingredient without wondering where to set the mixer. A built in groove lets you rest the mixer over the bowl, so drips go where they belong and not all over your countertop.
Cleanup in a Click
Quickly remove the beaters by pushing down on the power button. The beaters can be washed in warm soapy water, and the mixer body is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

I recently whipped up some mashed potatoes with this thing, but when the going got tough the cheapness of this mixer started to show through. When I dipped the "beaters" down into the bottom of the bowl, it sounded as if this hand mixer was running out of gas. I'm not sure if it would be able to power through bigger batches of thicker ingredients. Once the potatoes were nice and whipped though it had no problem doing its job.
If you're planning on doing some recreational baking and mixing, then this thing should well suit your needs. If you're planning on mixing concrete, thick mashed potatoes or tar, I would not recommend this mixer.
If you're the average every day consumer though, this mixer would work just fine for you.
