It's not a real LensPen, but you get what you pay for.

I suppose you get what you pay for, and you are not paying for a real LensPen. The product they sent me looks exactly like a LensPen, but whereas a LensPen has carbon on its tip and inside the cap, this one just has a felt-like substance. No carbon. The brushes and cloths and the blower seem good (so far). Even the so called "lens pen" seems well-built and is a convenient piece of equipment to clean the lenses - yes, even without the carbon it can clean to a large extent. But make an informed decision before you buy.
I wrote to the company thinking the pen was defective and got a prompt reply saying the pen was defective and they are sending two more free of cost, which they did. But guess what - the two new lenspens also don't have any carbon. This has led me to believe that this product is simply made without the carbon - it is just a piece of felt on the tip of a pen-like thing. Again, I am not saying it is useless, or it is extremely pricey. But the claims were somewhat misleading and I would have reconsidered buying this if I had known exactly what it was.
