This cover is great. This story is very erotic. The author does this part very well! The story is mostly great too. Here's my issue...cheating. I am one of "those" readers that actively chooses to NOT read a story that involves actual cheating. I don't mean when the H or h walks in and finds their significant other with another person then kicks them out. I mean the kind where the h (in this case) is in a relationship and chooses to participate in another relationship with another man while still dating/living with/involved with her significant other - while he is unaware and that is a big part of the story. I can not get past that. That ruins the story for me. I wish there would have been a warning. That being written - I did enjoy the h's secret life as a writer. That part of the story was written well.
I felt that the book was incomplete. Maybe there is going to be a second book? It just ended and made the reader wonder what happened, no epilogue, nothing.
I gave this book three stars because even though reading about cheating isn't for me, I know others may like reading it and those that do will enjoy this book (minus the ending).

I really enjoyed The Professor’s Secret. Because I was intrigued by the title I didn’t properly read this book blurb (yes, I’m the person that will buy a book because I like its cover…) I presumed this was a male professor/female student kinda secret, but I was so wrong!

The professor was female, Natasha Carsen, I found it refreshing that the book was written from her POV but this was a refreshingly different book from the get go. I found myself constantly surprised by the way the story unfolded, and lets face it, what more can you ask from in a book?

Her secret wasn’t an illicit affair with a student, it was that she was an erotic writer on the side, something that she knew would affect her career if it came out, so much so that her long term partner doesn’t even know.

Katie’s writing in the respect of portraying Natasha’s internal struggles with her alter-career, her relationship with the very loving Christopher, and her sexual needs is incredibly insightful. It shows Natasha in all her flawed glory whilst allowing the reader to empathise with her dilemma’s.

Enter Adam…

Yes, he’s a student, but he knows Natasha’s secret and wants Natasha. Adam can show Natasha a side to life that she’s only ever dreamed about, or in her case, written about. He makes her question everything she thought she knew and Natasha’s story makes the reader how they would react, faced with such a crossroads in life…

This book is extremely erotic and sensual; it shows us love and lust and how the lines can blur between the two. The story within the story is genius and it is extremely well written.

If you are looking for something a little different you won’t regret picking up The Professor’s Secret.

This was a hard book to read at times. I did enjoy some of it. The story was well written but was lacking in some sections. The characters were really good. The story itself was long at times. Dragged out.

This is Natasha Carson & Adam LaRue story. It took a while until Adam & Natasha get together. And, when they do there is a promise of no sex. But, Adam wants to show Natasha what it would be like if they were together. He told her he would then give up on trying to get with Natasha. Natasha is in a relationship with her live in boyfriend when Adam shows up in her classroom. I wondered how they could get together and yet have no sex.

I had an OMG moment. I couldn’t believe I was left hanging! Wow Cliffhanger alert! I made an audible ahhhh sound like I was in pain and I was! I couldn’t believe it ended the way it did. I just hope I don’t have to wait a long time until the next book comes out. I NEED to see what happens. I was gifted a copy of “The Professor’s Secret” for an honest review. I give The Professor's Secret 4.5 stars.

I really liked the twists and turns of this unlikely student/ professor relationship. The personal identity issue that the woman writer is dealing with is at the core of the story and makes the story. At 200 pages the book is long enough to have developed characters and a worthy plot. I liked it so much that I read it in one sitting.

The main character is living a double life and finds out that it is hard to live to standards others think are "right," not being true to yourself. I will be following this author.

It was going to be 5* for me; the writing's beautiful and lyrical. Lots of worthy quotes to choose from. However the he. Natasha after around 75% began to irritate me. She just couldn't make up her damn mind. All rational pointed to her failed relationship with 'Christopher' being over; the mere fact she kept so many secrets from him is testament to that. No way could she spend the rest of her life living a lie, and yet when faced with the man that is obviously made for her - Adam, she hesitates and runs away. I like my he. to be 'soft' but 'strong' too. Not GI Janes'; can't stand them at all. Natasha is strong in every other way but when faced with choosing between a man 15 years older who does not do 'kink' or a younger man (it never states his age, which is cool with me as I can use my imaginations; same with 'looks' authors out there, only give us minimal or better still - no description and let us choose their 'looks' ourselves) who is totally kinky and gorgeous and intelligent, she can't make up her mind. For this I dropped 1* as it felt like it was about 'filling' the pages only.

I also didn't realise until this point that it was a 'series'. I would have been fit to be tied if the next book hadn't already just been published on 26/07, thank goodness. I don't know if this will have any more books in the series and I'm hoping not; don't do series at all well - usually hate them.

Here's what I wrote about this book at one point:
Painfully delicous
Makes me squirm
Makes me yearn for....
Makes me remember....
Makes me want
Makes me pant
Makes me weak at the knees
Makes me breathless
Emotionally draining
Her indecisiveness is frustrating and ultimately - boring; she changes into a weakling.
