Product Description

The H-61 Killer is leaving a trail of skeletons across the Northern Mid-West. With police baffled, a retired FBI profiler is called in to assist. A seer of the criminal psyche, Saul Aitken (Gabriele Angieri) detects an incipient game. Only to find himself at the center as he's abducted from his hotel. With the profiler as his captive, the killer reveals himself as David (Joey Pollari). Ruthless, resourceful and clever, he challenges Aitken to a battle of wits; he must employ the science of profiling to stop David from killing again. Meanwhile the task force builds a trail with the help of FBI Special Agent, Rachel Cade (Emily Fradenburgh). With her own kind of ruthlessness, she fights to avenge the victims but now she must do so with a hostage in the equation. The cat and mouse reaches a climax as David lashes out at the authorities. Now facing their wrath, his game begins to unravel. But he still has the profiler as his hostage... and every game needs a final round.

The screenplay is excellent and worthy of a big budget film. This story is not your usual serial killer story. This truly is what the title says it is; It is a profile of a killer. It appears there is no motive for this young man's homicidal actions. He says he comes from a "good home", has never been abused, and his parents reveal that he has excelled academically and in any activity he's attempted at school. He's "just a kid", as Saul, the retired FBI agent observes.

So, why is he doing this? This is the task he sets for Saul after he kidnaps him. Profile the killer and figure out what makes him tick, what makes him murder.

This movie is not a blood fest or a jump out of your seat scary movie, but it is not for the little ones in your family . There are moments that are chilling.

Pollari, the actor, that plays David (the killer) created a character that is multi-layered. There are times where you see the chilling cold-blooded killer, the rage that lies within him. Then there are glimpses of vulnerability, self-doubt, and fear. He reveals the lost part of him that Saul so desperately wants to save.

Gabriele Angieri, plays the retired FBI profiler and looks like he's always been on the big screen. At times, he looks similar to Robert Deniro. His role becomes almost fatherly at times to this disturbed, young man. I hope to see Angieri in more films in the future.

The filming is excellent and looks professional. I often forgot I was watching an independent, low-budget film .

I really enjoyed the moments between Pollari and Angieri. They worked very well together and had that chemistry we always look for between actors.

We're all used to adult serial killers in movies. You see a lot more men in these roles than women. Actually, I don't recall a female in this type of role, but that obviously doesn't mean it hasn't happened. This movie adds an extra twist of suspense and horror that the monster is a child who seemed to have a normal childhood.

I was intrigued with the subject matter. It opens up a new or maybe old view that children can be killers without remorse. After all, humans have a measure of good and evil, and it's our choice or should I say "our WILL" to choice which road to take.

There needs to be a way to ban people who write these reviews that give low ratings because they're too stupid to "get it"--"it" being the whole idea that hollywood is not representative of real life and that the indy film makers actually hit it closer to home when it comes to the individuals and general population that exist in today's society. Everyone did a more-than-credible characterization and those who haven't known people outside of their own two dimensional circle would be smart to not make comments like all of the 1 and 2 star raters and a good many of those that gave it three stars.

You're correct, the above is not a review. It is a warning to those that base their movie-watching decisions on people who write such tripe.

Outstanding filmography--ever seen Minnesota at Christmas time--BLEAK! and that comes through loud and clear. Acting was solid and the two male leads did Outstanding jobs in the protrayals of their characters. Is it a popcorn-munchi9ng, fun-evening, movie? Absolutely not. Is it one that will make you think about how fragile life, ego, and love of one another can be. Definitely.

Another great sleeper movie with no big name actors just solid performances by everyone. I often hear people say you cant find good movies on Netflix or Amazon prime, this is just another example of finding those golden nuggets that are scattered throughout both providers. Profile of a killer has a solid story line and is not far fetched, especially in the world we live in today!

This was a disappointing movie. I don't know if it's studio pressure, the director's lack of confidence, or what.

A movie about a serial killer does not require horrific examples of the killer's handiwork. It does not require the killer's method to top other killer's, with the level of sadism, ritual, cleverness, etc.

Using that just makes a story contrived and gimmicky. It pushes it into a sub-genre of horror that then depends on escalation of the grotesque, and ruins what could have been a good psychological thriller.

They had a pretty good premise of an adolescent killer, imprisoning a profiler that had been brought in on the case. THAT relationship could have been awesome on so many levels, with better focus and writing and editing of the film as a whole.

I know it's bad when I end up watching the seconds turn into minutes, slowly ticking away.

If you want to make a horror flick, make a good one, if you want to make a psychological thriller, have the confidence in your project and don't try dumping everything in the pot, just in case.

There is nothing worse than a movie that lacks confidence in the execution, cant decide what it is, and expects an audience to hang in there for 2 hours, hoping with enough time, they will take it seriously, when they just want it to be over.
