My bust: 36
Despite what other reviews have said, this IS swimsuit material. This is not cotton. I believe its a spandex/poly blend. I've been in the water with it on and it acts like a swimsuit would & should. I can definitely see the top causing nip slips for some ladies. I have implants, so mine don't jiggle around a lot. I did not have any risk of nipple exposure. But be aware of this if you were blessed with large, bouncy boobs.
Here's my message to the self conscious: this is a super cute suit. I have spent my entire life trying to find a swimsuit that makes my body look the way I want it to look. That suit does not exist. You cannot force your body to look like someone else's. All you can do is find something to compliment your curves, or lack-there-of. In my posed photos, I look damn near perfect. But when I'm relaxed, as I would be walking on the beach, I just look like a normal, average gal. *ALL BODIES LOOK DIFFERENT IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS* Walk with confidence, love your vessel, and stop trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. Flaunt your perfect imperfections.
I also hate buying a bathing suit that comes together as one size because I have a large bust (so normally I need an extra large top) and wasn't blessed with much of a behind (so normally I would buy a small or medium bottom).
I am 5'8, 135 lbs. I bought the medium and it fit pretty well.
TOP: There were a couple times where there was an (almost) nip-slip, but I had my husband on "nipple patrol" and all was well. ;) I would say that depending on the anatomy of your breast (nipple placement) it could be a problem for you, but other than that, it's pretty darn cute.
BOTTOM: I already mentioned I wasn't blessed with much of a behind, so I don't know if it was just me or if the bottom back side is LONG. It went pretty dang high, so I had to fold it down a little.
NOTE: There is no swim liner. The entire swim suit is just the fabric that it's made out of. I didn't find it to be see through (even when wet)... but that may not be the case for everyone.
The best part is, it comes in a wide variety of colors, I chose the dark olive-green color which happened to jive well with my sun-kissed, olive Italian skin tone. There's literally a color selection for just about every skin tone out there. I got the large, and I'm around a 10-12 pant size, definitely curvy. I just, I feel like I need to thank the sweet spirit above that this swimsuit was brought into my life. Like, every woman knows the damn struggle. Get the suit, you're gorgeous, it's gorgeous, thank me later.
