This book is an excellent resource for those who are thinking of starting a dog bakery. What would take weeks of research and organization is compiled in an easy to follow (and very affordable) format. The template is very comprehensive and the book is filled with links to resources that provide additional data. From competitive comparison, market segmentation and target market segment strategy to pricing, forecasting and listening to the voice of the customer, this book covers it all.

As indicated in the front of the book, I emailed the author with my proof of purchase (I just printed my Amazon invoice) and promptly received an email with a Word document of the book and spreadsheets.

Best Business Plan Template I've Ever Seen. Used Correctly, it May Prevent Entrepreneurial Failures

Target Audience/Genre: This is a resource for entrepreneurs considering entering the growing field of producing dog treats.

What was the Amazon Rank on the date this review was published? 201,422.

Q - How was this book obtained?
A - Borrowed through Kindle Unlimited.

Q - Is this a book that I can read without having to read others first?
A – Yes.

Q - Are there a lot of typos/misspellings, grammatical errors or other editing failures?
A – No.

Q - Is this a fast, easy read or is it more of a leisure read?
A – It’s a resource that can serve not merely as a template, but as a guide to learning what questions to ask, what topics to research, and what considerations might be missed by many people thinking about starting a bakery for dogs.

Q - What sort of language does this writer use to amplify the points made?
A – Plain business English.

Q - My biggest pleasure or disappointment?
A - This is the first business plan template that I have actually come across that is truly beneficial and complete. Having said that, if the prospective entrepreneur thinks of the business plan as only a paperwork function, he/she is likely to fail. Use it as a guide for further research, not as a substitute.

I'm not including any excerpts of this, because it is a template, rather than a book for reading.

Bottom Line:

I urge prospective dog treat bakery operators to first read this through Kindle Unlimited to get a grasp on the business wisdoms evidenced through the business plan approach. Don't have Kindle Unlimited? Then, by all means, purchase the Kindle version if you are deadly serious about entering the field. The $20 is a good investment in your future and may well save you thousands of dollars.

I wish this had been available when my former partner, a proven businessman in other entrepreneurial fields, had chosen to franchise my own bakery --- I might well be a multi-millionaire today.

Anyway, after first glimpsing the Kindle version, I urge you to advance on to purchasing the ring-bound version for $29.99.
