This is a great product! The scissors are large enough to get right under the hot pizza and cut a large one in just a few snips. No mess, no fuss. It also comes apart easily for washing in the sink when you are done. The two cutting blades come right apart and go back together with ease.
Although you could use these for cutting other things, I would not recommend that you use it on non-food items. The idea of cutting a pizza with something that was used for cutting out newspaper ads too is not too appetizing - LOL.
All-in-all, it was a great purchase.
You can buy a $4 wobbly, impossible to clean pizza wheel from whatever-Mart and have it cut halfway through the pizza and trail strings of cheese behind it. Or you can invest in something like this and exclaim in wonder for at least the first ten times you use it. It looks like a pretty dumb instrument when you break it out but the results will shut every mouth that ever mocked your choice of kitchen utensils. I don't know how I ever lived without it.
