I received these measuring cups for Christmas, as I had requested them after using the magnetic measuring spoons. I love that they match the spoons perfectly (and I love the colors), and that they stay together without the ring and fit perfectly in the drawer. It is great to only have to wash the cup/spoon I use without a hassle. I find that there are just enough sizes for what is needed for cooking (I've never seen a measuring cup set that included a 3/4 cup and don't find it necessary anyway- there's a half cup and a quarter cup included- with some simple math, measuring 3/4 cup is quite easy).

I'm a pretty nit-picky consumer and I'd say this is a good product. They're very easy to clean (no seams for food/debris to lodge into), which is very important to me. Plastic material is quite rigid and sturdy (I'm guessing polycarbonate). The magnetic handles are sufficient for keeping them together and organized in the drawer, but are not so strong that they're annoying to pull apart. However, when nested together in a stack, it looks like the stack is missing the 3/4 cup size--indeed it's not included.

It would be cool if the magnets were strong enough to stick the top face to a steel panel (like on the side of a refrigerator), but they're not--I tried it. They will attach to a metal surface using the bottom side of the handle, however (as the cantilevering from the oven back panel picture--I tried that too), but that's not a very practical storage place is it? I guess I'll just be keeping them in the drawer. Better that they're out of sight anyhow I guess.

The alternating colors help in putting them together in the proper order after cleaning all of them, but that's a pretty minor feature. I suppose they help select the size you want out of the stack once you associate the size with the color.

Incidentally, I bought the similar magnetic measuring spoons. I say the same for them as for the measuring cups.

I have owned a set of these measuring cups for a few years now and I am still in love with them. I stumbled on them at TJ Maxx but I am happy Amazon sells them because I would be lost without them.

Before the Progressive Magnetic Measuring Cups I was unhappy with my stainless steel KitchenAid measuring cups. I was always losing the hook that keeps them together. I buy in bulk and like to keep some in smaller containers on my counters to use on a daily basis. It was a pain to do so with the KitchenAid measuring cups. I would end up with a counter full of baking soda or sugar. With the Progressive Magnetic Measuring Cups because of their elongated shape I can easily transfer sugar/dry ingredients into smaller vessels.

I wasn't crazy about the colors at first but I am glad that didn't keep me from buying them. Because of the magnets they are always together nice and neatly. I keep them next to my knives on my Magnetic Knife Holder so I never have to search for them in a drawer.

My children have dropped them a couple of times and they are still good as new.

The 1 cup measuring cup also has the other measurements other reviewers say are missing. You can barely see them because its white but they are there. This would be the only thing I would change about these cups, I wish I could see it better. The measurements inside the 1 cup measuring cup are 3/4, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4.

My husband saw these on I Want That on DIY and bought this planning to get rid of my Tupperware and Rubbermaid sets I have used for 20 years. I didn't see the DIY episode they were featured in so maybe I'm missing something. They are very awkward to use. Be careful when you put them on the counter empty - the handle is heavier than the cup side and if the handle is over the edge of the counter, it will fall over. I'm not a huge fan of these the couple of times I used them. They don't completely magnetize together so if they are supposed to, they don't. They are missing a 3/4 cup size that is used al the time in baking so not completely functional.

I love these measuring cups, they fit in all of my storage containers, which my previous set couldn't do, and they seem to measure true.

For some reason I thought the magnets would be in the base of the cups themselves, so I could stick them onto my fridge. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and the handle magnet is not capable of that.

The magnets are still a great feature, and while only in the handle have become very useful to me. When washing dishes, I can stick them to the outside metal bar of my dish drainer, saving me space inside my drainer.

As others have said, it looks like there is a measuring cup missing-- the three smaller cups fit well together, but then there is a big gap between the 2 largest cups-- like it is missing the 3/4 of a cup.

I was a bit disappointed with the strength of the magnet. I have the progressive measuring spoons and they hold together quite well, but these don't. If I hold them upside down, the cups fall out, and the 1 cup one gets knocked away from the rest when someone is rummaging through the kitchen drawer looking for something else.

They are fine, but not fabulous.
