Not sure how long it will last but I ordered it on March 28th and it arrive April 1st it is the perfect addition to my daughters room it cost a lot more than what I was hoping but I made the choice to buy it.

Dangerous design!

There is a dial to change the image that is displayed, which children will naturally be drawn to. This is a significant design flaw as the plug does not connect securely to the wall outlet. We attempted to plug the night light into several outlets in our home to ensure this was not a fluke. We have never had any issues with our electrical outlets being loose using any other electrical devices. This is a very poor design and an incredibly dangerous risk for fire or electrocution. We returned this item immediately!

The night light replaces a more than 3 year old (possibly 5?) Projectables night light. My older son outgrew a night light so his younger sibliing received the original as hand-me-down. Although I don't think the original image was ever terrific, there's no doubt the clarity and brightness faded over time. I was shocked how much better this new Projectables night light was by comparison. Image is being cast onto a typical 8 ft white ceiling.

The image not too bright for night light - probably just about the amount in my opinion. Very surprised how clear image was. I've read several reviews of other Projectables and was surprised at the criticism. In the least, this particular model works very well. Perhaps the multi-image mdoels have a brighter LED?

I'm glad I made the purchase. My little Star Wars fan is happy.

the preview pictures make this look as if it projects a very large picture, but it does not. Its about 18 inches wide on ceiling from wall socket at standard height on wall. As well, its not very bright, definately not as bright as it looks in the pictures. However, my grandson likes it because its star wars.

My son is just getting into Star Wars, Which is great fun for me as I also enjoyed this franchise as a child. Love that we can turn the projector in any direction so that he can see it from his bed despite where the outlet is on the wall. We also love being able to change things very easily. This type is so much better than the ones where disc insertion is needed. No lost Parts!

Graphics best in pitch black

Initially I had the light focused to the wall (3rd photo) and was really disappointed in the blurriness. It was awful. Then I repositioned it to shine on the ceiling and that improved the graphics (pic 2). I went back at night to see if the graphics improved and was really impressed. (pic 1).
I bought this for my teen nephews' bathroom & gameroom, so hopefully they'll be impressed too.

Not too bright or too dim. Swivel head is great for aiming on ceiling or wall. The sensor for detecting light and shutting of the night light isn’t sensitive. This makes it great for nap time, but means it needs to be unplugged during day to help prevent early burnout of the nightlight.
