I first bought the C423W tripod but returned it in favor of the C426W which seems to hold a bit more weight. I wanted a light weight tripod to travel with but I shoot with a Nikon DSL with a long zoom lens that's pretty heavy. I bought a Manfrotto ball camera mount and the combination works well.
