Snipes, Eddie (2012-09-06). The Promise of a Sound Mind: God's Plan for Emotional and Mental Health (p. 51). GES Publishing. Kindle Edition.
With all of the hype surrounding the name it and claim it mentality, to read the above excerpt is more than enough reason to keep this book---it does not conform to the standards of the world, but tells the truth of the Word in clear and simple language that even a babe (such as myself) can understand and apply. I perceive that this will be a book that I will refer to often in this journey to my final destination.
Topics like the spiritual battle we face, the difference our attitude makes, cultivating a grateful spirit, renewing our minds with God's truth, taking every thought captive, living a life of forgiveness and so much more.
I especially like the "Life Application" sections at the end of each chapter as the author gives you practical ways to take action on what is shared.
I recommend this book!
