Customers are satisfied with the performance of the precision measuring instrument. They mention that it works great, is ok for the price, and is dead on every time.
I'm not building rocket ships, so I don't need accuracy as close as this provides. It's good enough for woodworking and the limited metalwork that I do. I use it mostly to make sure blades are square to a surface, so the low price was very important to me. I find it very easy to use. My biggest concern is losing it as it's a bit small, so I try to keep it in the canvas case that came with it.
These work great for the cost, we have some that are three times as much and these work just as well. We use them to set production angles in a coating process and for tooling fabrication.
Set it on table saw, chop saw, or band saw, zero it , then move device to the blade (or can do in reverse order) and see the angle. Very sensitive to 0.1 degree. Helpful when trying to cut 90, 45 degree cuts or other angle off of the vertical/horizontal axis. Not used for right to left planar movements like on a miter saw
Great tool to have around the garage for home and wood shop. Use it for leveling pictures around house. Mainly use it in wood shop for my saw blades. Came with nice case to have on belt but will easily fit in pocket. Easy to use and a handy size. Easy to read. It is magnetic which helps as well. Great price for such a usefully all around tool.
Needed this to measure some 60 degree angles to make some shelves and it worked out great. Tablesaw is a little older so the degree marks weren’t that exact on my first go around and made it quite difficult to put together. Once I got this I could tell my saw was off by about 5 degrees or so and this made the glue up for the shelves perfect works a lot better than I expected!
This inclinometer is very easy to use, has a magnetic base so I can clip it to a table saw blade and set the proper degree. This is a good product at a reasonable price.
