Product Description

This commercial-grade wrap around heat press from Promo Heat includes 2 elements that allow you to create custom coffee and latte mugs. Heating element sizes are 11oz. coffee mug (3" - 3.5" diameter) and 12oz. latte mug (4.75" diameter). Includes a heavy-duty integrated cradle that measures 10.25" x 5.5" to use with the two heating elements. Elements are non-stick and Teflon-coated to prevent transfers from scorching and do not require a separate silicone/Teflon sheet. An adjustable tension screw allows you to adjust the pressure accordingly for accurate pressure and clean transfers. Digital temperature control lets you preset the temperature; the element will stop heating when the preset temperature is reached. A digital timer with an audible alarm helps avoid overexposure. The timer reset button allows you to speed up production by pressing the button for a new pre-timed session. This commercial-grade heat press is true 450 watts rated with a temperature range up to 750 degrees Farenheight. Arrives fully assembled and ready to use with integrated cradle with rubber coated handle, Teflon-coated mug element, Teflon-coated latte element, and operating instructions.

Love this machine ...But woooa very confusing on time temps. First off MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MUG IN IT WHEN STARTING IT/setting it. You will blow out the element.
2- spend the time adjusting it to the size of your mugs.
3 set temp= 360 degrees in P1(Ricoh printer sg3110dn and standard dye sub paper)
4 set time= 360 min in P1
5.when done give 10 secs to unwrap. we tape with 3m blue mask tape (cheap)
6. go to conde dot com and they have video's and all kinds of info.

I am running latte mug 15 oz full color full wrap picture. found mugs at discountmugs dot com for 1.33 blank (shipping 50).works great with this machine. You will get 1/4 bleed near handle on 9.5 x4 paper. so give yourself 1/4 blank work areaon artwork. I have CorelDraw templates if anyone needs them. Go to transfer-t dot org and get ahold of me. that site is there for anyone needing free help.

I don't know what units you guys are getting but I do run 15 (strait) mugs in this unit. You must adjust the screw and feel it out. DONT FORCE IT ! Play with it - I have mine all the way out. ALSO some mugs are not to perfect size by manufacturer - I use discount mugs out of Florida. Also Best blanks works too. It is tight but works. I have busted a handle or 2 closing the unit. And close it easy - do not slam it closed.

We have a graphics design business where we mainly design and print posters. We wanted to get into printing on mugs and did not want to spend a lot of money on a mug press so we chose this product. The product is small but has some weight to it and it is for the most part manufactured well. The instruction manual is not in depth so we had to do testing with different temps and heating times. The optimal temp we found is 360 degrees with a heating time of 275-300 seconds. Immediately dunk the mug in a tub of cool water once the timer goes off. One thing to remember is this press is designed for printing on 11ounce mugs and not the larger and more popular 15 ounce mugs. We were printing on the 15 ounce mugs and we bent the screw that secures the mug wrap. You need to buy sublimation paper and use a printer that prints with sublimation ink. Mugs come out with vivid colors. We also have printed on metal water bottles with ease.

We get an unexplained constant beeping when the machine gets to the temperature it needs to be at, there is no way to turn off the beep till the mug has pressed for 60 seconds. It didnt always do this. For the price you will get what you pay for, but on day one we made enough mugs on this bad boy to buy a much more heavy duty mug press. A great starter press for someone new to sublimation!

I bought this heat press a few months ago and use it everyday. I wasn't sure about the quality since it is made in China but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. This is so easy to operate..set the time and temp and your ready to go. Every mug comes out perfect! The settings I use for a 11 oz mug is 360 degrees for 300 seconds. You can find the temp that works best for you by experimenting but that's the settings that works best for me. The mugs I use come from Coastal Business Supplies and I use a Sawgrass SG400 Sublimation printer. This mug heat press seems to be heavy duty and can stand everyday all day use. I am very pleased! I would definitely buy it again.

I love this machine! the quality of print comes out brilliant. It does not take a long time to complete the process... and to do various size cups makes it even more effecient.

OK, I like it a lot, but not in love with the directions. But this does just as well as the expensive ones and sure beats mug wraps and convection ovens. A great starter machine and the extra conical element is a real plus for the bucks.

***UPDATE*** This press sparked, and died after only a few months of use. I had only done about 100 presses with it when one day while I was making a mug, it made a HUGE spark where the wrap meets the cable, and shut down. My husband opened it up to see if he could fix it, but it is faulty wiring, and completely useless now. The machine won't even turn on. Very disappointed that it did not last long, and could have easily caused a fire.

Very happy with this press. I originally had one that was slightly less money, and it never heated evenly. This heats evenly, quickly, and is consistent when pressing mugs.

I just received this is was amazed at how solid, simple and flexible the machine is. Ready to go out of the box. It's very easy to set specific temp and time - it only beeps to let you know when it's up to temp, hit the timer and it beeps again when it's done counting down seconds for setting your art. Serious bang for your buck. I switched out the screws to wing-nuts for faster changing of mug types.
