I recently read the Ted D. Berner book Proof. I was drawn to the book because the story embraces an exploration into ancient civilizations that were able to construct enormous statues, temples and pyramids without benefit of modern day equipment. To this day there are only "plausible theories" as to how they were able to quarry such enormous stones and then move them great distances. Which begs the questions:
Was there extraterrestrial intervention?
Were they in possession of unknown forces or energy sources?
Is there some "Lost Knowledge" we have yet to uncover?
Ted D. Berner uses the non-fictional texts and structural evidence left by ancient civilizations around the globe and weaves it into a fictional account of Ty Larson, the story of a young man's quest for knowledge about how it all came to be. His innocent pursuit of answers takes him on a modern day journey farther reaching and more dangerous than he could possibly have imagined. What he uncovers draws the attention of foreign and domestic agencies - some friendly - some not - with global consequences.
A single Biblical verse from Genesis 6:4 ignites a flame of curiosity that leads to a trail of evidence through the dead sea scrolls, myths, legends and stories back through recorded history in search of "PROOF."
"An illuminating and fascinating adventure." - Archie Hahn, Screen Actors Motion Picture and Television Nominating Member
From the Author
"Who are we and why are we here? How did this world that we live in come into existence? The Bible may shed some light on these issues, but is there even more to it? What happened all those eons ago to put all of what we know into motion? Who or what is God? I believe life is a gift and plan to use mine to get to the bottom of some of these age-old questions.""It was this verse in the Bible, Genesis 6:4, that fueled the fire in me to pursue some answers and continues to be a passion of mine to this day. The only thing I can say for sure is there appears to be fingerprints everywhere I look of something much greater." T. D. Berner
Warning! Although this book can stand alone, there is a sequel coming (hopefully in late 2017 or early 18) so the reader may want to hold off until then so there is no wait to tie up any possible loose ends in the story. Enjoy!
