The X-wing played a major role in the Galactic Civil War following its capture on Fresia and the defection of its designers to the Alliance. It was heralded as the fighter that, in the hands of Luke Skywalker, destroyed the Death Star.
Later in the war it formed the backbone of the Alliance Starfighter Corps, defending Alliance ships and leading attacks on Imperial vessels and installations. Most importantly, when handled by an experienced pilot, it could perform on near equal terms with the Empire's high-performance TIE fighters.
Bring the magic of flight to a whole new dimension with the Star Wars T-65 X-Wing Star Fighter Quadcopter.
Pilot the quadcopter at speeds above 35 MPH and engage friends and family in exciting multiplayer Battles.

Battery charge time a little shorter than typical.
Best unpacking experience ever!
The propeller down design flies well, but I expect the propellers to wear out quicker. It was really difficult to read the letter marking on the clear propellers. The packages should be marked A and B to make finding the right propellers easier.
The packaging is really nice but it's unfortunate that it's not possible to put the drone back into the case without removing the propellers.
But, there appears to be some quality issues with it. First, the remote I received was broken and the company was unresponsive to two emails I sent. I had to return it and buy a new one. Second, the crash cage is so fragile that it broke after a soft landing on grass. The company has been sold out of replacements for some time. Third, every one of the little guns on the side broke after mild crashes on grass. It did come with replacements. But I am just leaving them broken to avoid breaking the replacements. Out of the blue, the drone has started shutting down mid-flight and dropping like a rock for no reason. It has happened twice. The battery was not dead and I was not sending it the kill command either time it happened.
In summary, the design and flight are fabulous, but the quality is lacking for the price.
This thing is pretty cool, however, and I'd definitely recommend it at the current $40. Unboxing was the best part, with the music and lights. Flying it is a breeze, and the headlights are pretty fun. Could do without the music while flying, but fortunately you can turn off the sound of the remote. Both my hubs (a certified commercial drone pilot) and I like this little toy.
