I wholeheartedly recommend this book to both those contemplating starting a small business as well as those currently operating a small business."

My husband has also read through the book and tells me that he plans to give one to many of his current small business clients and every new client who intends to start a new business as a partnership, limited liability company or corporation.
The author gives forward looking advice when he suggests to look to the future and not to look out the “rear-view mirror” noting that only one half of new businesses will still be operating in five years. Each chapter includes a template and or a checklist that once completed can identify changes needed to be made and issues that may require additional analysis. The questions in the checklist are uncomplicated and straightforward. Also included in each chapter are “tips” which bring little known or often overlooked facts to the attention of the small business owner. The chapter on expense review for example is filled with “tips” on matters such as advertising, mileage, meal expenses and accounting fees to name a few. There is nothing not addressed and is a must read for anyone doing business or planning to start up one.

Mr. Weinberger makes his expertise in these areas and more both readable and comprehensible through an authoritative text filled with organized detail. He has obviously been in this business for a while.
He punctuates his wisdom with appendixes, summaries, and tips that are easy to note, and he includes points and charts that render the reader even more accessibility. From discourse on the small business of today to finance, his publication includes every component a small business owner/manager needs to succeed, right down to technology and customer relationships. He covers strategy, marketing, and risk assessment, to name a few. His is an invaluable piece of work that should be on the shelves of every small business owner and key executives. Make no mistake, this book is designed to insure the small business owner a profit.
I am in every way pleased I found this Mr. Weinberger’s book, and I enthusiastically recommend it to others.
