You've got to love the new normal. I am still searching for the best mask combination of fit, comfort and breathability. These are definitely in the running. They are shaped so well you do not need a wire to fit them to your nose to keep them from falling off. They wrap comfortably around the chin and have two ear straps with very light elastic to keep them in place. They also have loops on the ear straps to attach extenders to, which is a nice plus. They are reasonably easy to breathe through, but provide enough filtering that you can't blow a match out through them, which is a good rule of thumb test for a mask. The price is in bed and the quality is excellent.

I have tried a number of different masks and not found any that work for my face. I have a longer face and most of the masks were not big enough to fit securely under my chin and cover my nose properly. These work really well at that. In terms of overall comfort, they are good. I have had some that are a bit softer feeling but they are not uncomfortable at all. The ear loops are thin cords so they are less comfortable than others but after a while you get used to them, or you can use some sort of band holder. For someone with a larger face looking for a better fitting mask, these are a good mask at a great pric.

Finally a mask that fits my melon and doesn’t yank my ears down. Hat size 7 7/8 to 8. It’s also easy to talk while on. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What about the wash test? I have washed these many times and they keep their shape and do NOT need ironing. The included images were taken right after a wash.
I don’t have a problem breathing in these masks and they fit snuggly to my face. I’ve had a few that get sucked into my nose or mouth when I breathe. These do not.
What about layers? These feel like 3 layers. It feels like something is between the face side and outside layer. With double masking a thing now I feel like I’m already wearing a double or triple mask.
I coach basketball and fastpitch and wear these for both. My face does get sweaty but breathing is not a problem.

My husband says these extra large masks are better than any others he has tried. They have a stiffer structure so they stay in place when he speaks. Other masks would get pulled off by his beard when he opened his mouth. They also cup out away from his mouth so he can speak without getting a mouthful of fabric. They are larger so cover more area on his face and conform nicely over the cheeks without puckering out near the ears. The adjustable ear loops help customize the fit.

He hand washes his daily mask in the bathroom sink after work before showering and lets it air dry over a heater vent. Simple.

PRO: This is the first fabric mask I've bought (been using the blue non-woven ones) so I will give them a try... probably will be wearing masks one place or another for the rest of my life... don't want CV, SARS whatever, the flu, colds etc... so this will be a test - As is everything we do in life :)

SO FAR, thank the gawds, this mask does NOT ITCH! Easy to breathe in. When I pulled the two surface layers apart I could feel the finer inner fabric - whatever it is. That inner fabric should prevent much of possibly contaminated air from getting in or gaak... if I get the bug and don't know it... from getting out and catching someone else.

Comfortable and fits nicely under my chin. The elastic ear strings are soft and the little 'rubber' thingy that helps tighten them to fit, work nicely. If/when they fail I can jury rig something... no prob there.

CON: NO NOSE WIRES in these masks. A partial problem for glasses wearers. Maybe not for others.

Anyway, I should have read the fine print that wasn't there...

I've been saving those plastic covered flat metal coffee bag thingy's > the ones you fold back once you have opened the coffee bag... in the eventuality that I would get around to sewing my own masks and could use them to pinch the top of my masks to the contour of my face. So I will experiment and try sewing one onto the mask (somehow, somewhere) for a retro fit because I wear Glasses and the nose thingys kinda help keep my lenses from fogging up. Have read that the coating that prevents scratches on plastic eyeglass lenses, is what partly causes the fogging. So does COLD weather or change in ambient temperature... Oh, well... just gotta deal with it.

OK > One other thing >>> these masks keep air from getting in (or out) from under my chin - Which is Good.

HOWEVER, The inherent failure of ALL Masks (other than high tech medical, scuba, snorkeling or space suit masks which have a different approach to reality) is that air has to come in from somewhere and go out from somewhere... SO... as with all masks not medical, diving or space, the air flow is mostly thru the area above ones nose (hence the fogging of glasses) AND the sides.

SO... YOUR Air blows back behind you... or behind anyone else wearing a mask... SO be on guard for blow-out air when you stand behind anyone or to the side of anyone breathing :) THAT'S WHY YOU STAY AT LEAST 6 FEET AWAY or UPWIND.

My thanks to the folks who sew these masks and everyone out there: please help each other avoid getting any kind of airborne bug... we only have one planet and only one batch of air.

The face fit is great. I am an adult with a large face.
The ear ties are not the most comfortable, being a bit to thin and nylon rope like, not soft. You can easily add an around the neck or head adapter to the earloops.
I most like the stability of the "beak" over the mouth allowing ease of speaking. The mask stays in place when speaking.
The mask are easy to hand wash and air dry well. I have not tried to machine wash and dry.
