Works for car key fobs great

Blocks 100% of my car key fob. I read the reviews and was doubtful about its blocking capability, but for the price I gave it a whirl. I tested it and no signal gets from my key fob to the car at all, either by being close to car or pressing high power button. I did place my work card into it and it doesn't work through the pouch but only by really pressing my card against a reader. So in conclusion seems to block the frequency of key fob very well and probably NFC about 80% which is good enough as someone would have to be pressing against you to read it... overall happy for what i bought it for, so noone can scan the car key fob when in public car parks.

Main reason for this pouch , was for blocking car key fob signals. It works great! Also, I like that fact that ends are rounded off at the bottom, so that when I put it in my front pants pocket , it does not pinch or feel uncomfortable. I keep my house keys attached to my key fob . Both fit well inside this pouch. Actually , this pouch with the key fob and keys inside , feel better than before , with keys and key fob just in my front pocket alone. (much more comfortable) Also, packaging and speed of delivery was great. May , buy a few more, since in my experience, things that work out well for me , sometime become discontinued by the company. Good Luck!!!

Seems like it does not block everything/update--now rings inside bag

I bought this a couple months ago. I am not sure if it is working as described by seller. If I put the phone into the bag and then call it from another phone, it does not ring. I tested it this way right after I got it and it seemed good. However, now that I have been using it several months, I have found it ringing/vibrating while in the bag several times. I know that when this happened the phone was in the proper pocket.
All of the ring/vibration occurrences turned out be be alerts from my phone service letting me know about messages left several hours earlier, while the phone was also in the bag. So in one sense seems to have worked, because it did not ring when the original call came in. However, it is my understanding that the phone should be unreachable while in the bag, and if my phone service can reach it to deliver alerts about voicemail, then the bag is not delivering the privacy service I am looking for. I do not have technical expertise in this matter, but common sense tells me that if my phone service is able to deliver an alert while the phone is in the bag, then my phone service provider and possibly other entities such as retail stores may be able to identify me and my location and other data on my phone that I had hoped would be shielded by this bag. I do not wish to be tracked as I am walking down the street or through stores and I am not at all satisfied with this product.

Now my phone has started to ring while it is in the bag. I know it is in the proper pocket. The bag does not work as promised.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I put my car key in the rear pocket (note to all those who say it doesn’t work, use the REAR pocket) and tried to open the car. No joy. Removed key from pouch and tried again. Opened as normal. Repeated the above a half dozen times. Same result each time.

The card that comes with the pouch does not show or describe the two pouch system. I was thinking how did I buy this? it doesn't work! I went back and read the product description and reviews and figured out I was doing it wrong! I felt kinda silly. Now it works fine so If you find my car while I'm swimming or biking and know my secret code, and can find my fob, you can have my car. But in the mean time, I won't loose or ruin my fob!

Doesn't block cell phone

I tested out this pouch and it doesn't block anything. It appears to be well made, but the materials it uses to block the signals must not be very good. I know that another product which does work is much more expensive - anywhere from $20 to $80. I'm glad that Amazon has such a great refund policy.

Cheap and effective, but failed after a year.

Purchased in September of 2015, I used this pouch to shield my keys since my car has a passive keyless entry system. The pouch worked great for a little over a year, at which point it stopped acting as an RF shield. Indeed wifi, cellular, and my car keyfob all work fine from within the pouch now. I'm not completely sure what failed about the pouch, but regardless it is important to always test items like this periodically to ensure they still work!

Despite failing after a year, it was cheap and an effective shield while it lasted.

This case worked well when we first got it since we were unable to unlock the car when we were standing right next to it with the key in the case. One time after about a year or so I forgot to take the key out of the case and drove all the way home. Since then the case has cracked in multiple places and doesn't work any more.
