The only real bug I've ran into is the weird input lag, but changing a couple of things in Radeon Pro fixed it to where it's unnoticeable.
I bought 2 copies as gifts for friends, kept the radnet DLC from one of them as that friend is not the type to do the achievement/side mission thing and activated it on my copy.
Prototype 2 is more of the same, but necessarily in a bad way. Living weapon again, karate kicking tanks and elbow dropping strike team helicopters. And more body surfing. Haven't gotten far into the story for this one of personal reasons, the protagonist feels slower than Mercer was in the first game. Might be that I haven't leveled him up yet, but I prefer my characters to be speedy. While this guy is agile, he just feels a bit sluggish aesthetically. Still fun though, and his powers, while mostly the same as the first, still look new and intimidating in their own way. The only solid complaint I've got is graphics. The game's about 3 years newer than the first, and the graphics look about the same. This is all right for the most part, as I'm not a big stickler, but sometimes you gotta stop and appreciate your surroundings, and when you do it looks pretty muddled. Just saying that for three years later, they could've done better.
Games are overall fantastically fun. And body surfing.

But our wonderful friend amazon puts this set on sale for $10 on occasion. And for that price, yeah, you have to get it. How can you not? It comes with steam codes! And DLC! And bragging rights to have a big ol' steam library full of expensive games!
Get it on sale!
the first one worked for me and was fun enough that i could overlook the weak control scheme.
the second glitched so badly that i was unable to progress past a certain point in the story because the game would just not let me progress.
I wouldn't recommend these games for PC and would instead encourage you to look for the console versions if you want to enjoy these games at all.

Bought it as an impulse buy and tried to play it via Steam; the online services are basically bust and it's just a roaming game.Published on April 4, 2014 by Bryan D

Game play is at times neat and the concept of bio-engineering a body is indeed clever. However I didn't care a lot about the game play. Read morePublished on June 19, 2013 by Urick Estep
I get what they were going for. It's supposed to be an action-packed, open-world take on the "dark superhero" category, but the controls are terrible and inaccurate. Read morePublished on May 18, 2013 by H. Gulliver
