Brian Simmons is a brilliant man who has been given revelation and insight into a deeper meaning of the Scriptures. God has breathed a passion in Brian to see the rich words of the Bible presented to us in a new light. Reading this translation will enlighten your heart, mind, and spirit as you are summoned into the essence of the Man, Christ Jesus undeniable love for you. I highly recommend this new Bible translation to everyone. --Dr. Che Ahn, Pastor HRock Church, Pasadena, Ca and President, Harvest International Ministry
To hear the heart of God in The Passion Translation, expressed with the full color and emotion of the original text, is truly a gift to the English-speaking church! Brians translation of the Song of Songs left us all with a great hunger to see more of this wonderful translation project. Then the release of The Psalms: Poetry on Fire only served to increase the excitement surrounding this translation. Brian and Candice are friends of the Holy Spirit and it is with His guidance that the Bible is being opened to us with greater clarity than ever before through this translation project. I believe that the release of The Passion Translation coincides with a global awakening, and this new translation has been given by God to fuel the fire of this awakening. It was through a life changing encounter with God that Brian was commissioned to do this translation and I believe that an impartation for Holy Spirit encounters is released through his ministry. I pray that Gods Word will provoke you to love as never before as you read The Passion Translation and that your hearts will be set ablaze with a fresh passion for God. --Katherine Ruonala, Glory City Church, Brisbane, Australia --This text refers to the paperback edition.
About the Author
Brian and Candice Simmons have been described as true pioneers in ministry. Their teaching gifts have opened doors in many nations to take the message of awakening and revival. For the last forty years they have labored together to present Christ in His fullness wherever God sends them. As a witness firsthand of a revival which swept through their jungle village where they were serving as missionaries and saw many converted to following Jesus Christ. Brian and Candice were ruined for status quo Christianity. Recently they were inspired to launch a new dynamic version of the Scriptures encompassing the early Aramaic manuscripts along with the traditional Greek and Hebrew texts. A pastor, Bible teacher and linguist, Brian is the author of numerous books and has helped establish a number of ministries.

I have many of his books, I use the Psalms as a 'Scholastic' reading of the psalms as I prefer the more 'traditional' wording for Psalms, but this is a great book for a secondary understanding of the writers. Great book to have to read with the Divine Romance, Song of Song interpretation.
All his books are a valuable resource for one's library.
