Psycho Bettys From Planet Pussycat

Twenty years ago, a virus killed off all of the males on Planet Pussycat. Faced with inevitable extinction, Queen Betty of Pussycat hatched a plan to save her loyal subjects - the Bettys. After receiving Earth's television signals, four chosen Bettys traveled to Earth in search of men for procreation or dismemberment. This rock and roll musical is a fun indie that was made on a shoestring.

Whatever This Was, It Was Thoroughly Enjoyable
Verified purchase
Whatever this was, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Good dialogue, acting, singing, production values, and the pretty girls were a bonus. (Spoiler: There is no nudity; if that's what you're looking for, look elsewhere.)

Fun and humorous

A fun low budget movie that delivers good humor and some dark commentary. Campy and well done considering their limitations.

I Loved This Unironically. Loved. It.
Verified purchase
I loved this completely unironically. It's a heckin classic. It just made my top list of movies. So glad I stumbled upon it. It is fun and ridiculous and the songs are so well written and funny. I was laughing my ass off throughout the movie. Wish I could have it on DVD! I bought the soundtrack and already sent of the songs are stuck in my head.

The movie is like Earth Girls Are Easy, but with badass women with bowie-like face paint and hidden mohawks. I love it!!!

Super campy and fun.

I really like this flick. It’s funny and clever with great, witty jokes. Low budget camp that feels like it was made by theater geeks in the AV room on the smallest of shoestring budgets. Most of the songs are pretty good too. Perfect for a late night viewing party with friends. Grab some bacon, Cheetos and beer (you’ll see) and turn it up.

Very fun and very clever. I suspect that some of the humor is in disguise and quite smart. If you don’t get the joke, I think the joke is on you.

Good music. Some language and implied violence – maybe 15+.

I think the budget was small, but I recommend.
