I don't care what you do, but please at least be aware of the extraordinary efforts being made to push you one way or the other.
This book shows modern media to be unbelievably persuasive and in my opinion utterly corrupt.
This book explains the techniques used to mold public opinion. And contains many historical examples and a lot of history. Amazing how a book written so long ago is so prophetic.
ISBN 978-1-77323-946-0 is NOT complete, it has NO charts or illustrations. I give it 1 star.
This book was written to help guide military staff through efforts to psych opponents into either giving up, or into becoming ineffective due to demoralization. It is a slapped-together hasty publication, but it is worth reading as it forms the basis of most modern PsyOp warfare.
Top reviews from other countries
The book focuses on the ideas behind an effective psychological warfare campaign rather than on the techniques themselves. It helps the reader see how the target of a psychological campaign thinks about any messages being delivered to them by both friendly and unfriendly forces.
The book will not teach you how to wage psychological warfare, but if you apply the lessons you can see how your actions can be made more influential, even in everyday life.
It is a must read for anyone interested in the subject
