The Best Christmas Album...hands down!
on November 13, 2012
Anyone who has heard Pentatonix before knows their a cappella sound is amazing, all created with just 5 voices. This album does not disappoint, and again raises the bar, this time for Christmas music.
You'll be blessed by Kirstie and Mitch's captivatingly clear voices, especially in O Holy Night and Carol of the Bells. Scott's incredible range will blow you away (you'll hear him sing pretty low in O Come, O Come Emmanuel). Kevin's steady beatboxing rhythms throughout the album, and the horn section (The Christmas Song) prove his dedication to his craft. And last but never the least, Avi's bass is as always, unbelievable, and his solos, especially in O Come, O Come Emmanuel are hauntingly beautiful.
I could go on and on about each song, but I strongly encourage you to purchase the album and hear for yourself. These are not the same old arrangements you hear every year at this time, but put together with that special PTX flavor.
In short, Pentatonix has put together an album that will appeal to everyone, in every age range. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
