About the Author

Gilberto Rivera was born September 21 of 1972, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, U.S.A. He wrote many books in devotion for Puerto Rico in all its aspects: Its Culture, Folklore, Nature (Landscape Photography) and History, including The 65th Infantry Regiment, made mostly by Puerto Rican soldiers from the U.S. Army (more focused in their duty during The Korean War). He also wrote poems recalling Puerto Rico's Taino Roots: The Native Indian of Borinquen, since Puerto Rican people (including himself) feel more identified with the term "Boricuas" rather than just "Puerto Ricans". All his books goes In The Name of The Island of Enchantment, Borinquen (Puerto Rico).
