An artist known for her whimsical designs, which often include hand-painted illustrations and lettering, her work has been featured in a number of publications including O, The Oprah Magazine,Vogue, US Weekly, Glamour, Redbook, Harper's Bazaar, Martha Stewart LIving, and Southern Living to name a few. Until I received this boxed set of books, I was worried by the number of one-star reviews. But the books are fine, just as described in all the five-star reviews.
So I did a bit of sleuthing and, sure enough, some of the one-star reviews contain the name of a different publisher!
I've seen this problem before...most memorably, a review of a children's classic that complained about the poor quality of the translation into French...indicating that the review was aimed at a French edition of the book, not the book that was for sale.
I'm baffled as to how such reviews get misplaced, since it seems that every review would be automatically filed and displayed by Amazon's unique number for each item.
Anyway, you can ignore the bad reviews for this set of books

I purchased this box set to split into a few Christmas gifts. I am more than pleased with the quality and beauty of these classic editions. The covers could not be more perfectly illustrated. The colors are rich and the gold accents make for a special touch. "Heidi" was one of my favorite movies during childhood, but I had never read the novel. I dove into this title as soon as this set arrived. I will keep this title for my own bookshelf. The others will make lovely gifts!

This a gorgeous edition of the classics !! It's a must if you are crazy for books as iam. I got this for 2310. So check for the price reduction and then buy it.
Delivery was on time. This is the exchanged one, the first one I got and it came sealed, the Heidi book binding was reversed. So got it exchanged without any hassle. Good for that. The edges are dented , I wish the delivery people handle it with more care or packing is done better.
It also comes with a beautiful book mark which was a surprise.
