Everything You Need to Know Now About Pump Station Design

Honestly, I have not read the entire book, but as a Consultant for small sewer districts, everything I've needed to be refreshed on is in this book. The authors have compiled a great deal of real-world applications and compared different designs to recommend what has been proven to work the best of all they have seen. Although it usually takes a Science degree to become an Engineer, Engineering is a great deal of art. Let the creative solutions others have found work for you - improve your designs and stick with what is proven to work best!

"Sensational resource"!!!
I bought this for my boyfriend because he really wanted it, after I brought an earlier edition home from work one day. He couldnt believe how comprehensive it was but the price was a bit steep. I waited awhile before getting it just to make sure it was really what he wanted. Lately it has been hard finding good resources for our profession, or atleast a comprehensive resource, but this seems to be a good one. Definitely worth the money!

One of the most comprehensive books in the area I have ever seen. I like its approach with guidelines of how to use it depending on the type of user.
It combines advices on mechanical, civil and electrical aspects obtained on years of experience of the authors (more than 100 specialist from the academy and industry).
A huge effort fron the editors. If you like the subject and want one bible-like book, this is it!

A great reference book that deals with all design aspects related to pumping stations. Furthermore, there is extensive information concerning procurement and commercial issues. The book is clear even when it goes into detailed information and should be considered as a must have for every engineer working in this field.
