On snowy day, a woman being pushed in wheelchair by her three sons comes into Charlotte's Plaice, her restaurant. The three brothers are recently out of prison for crimes of theft, racketeering, and several other in which Nathan had put them in jail for. Have they really reformed, and why are they back in town? The next night one of the brothers is discovered to have been killed. Is his death the result of one or more of their formal targets getting revenge?
Sherri Bryan has written a fascinating continuation of this saga. It has everything you could want. A great mystery, multiple suspects, a fabulous surprise reveals. And a great ending with touching gifts from both Bride and Groom.
as for violence, it is a murder mystery, but the murders are not described graphically
I would put this series into cozy murder mystery, along with personal lives of main
characters woven into the books in just the right amount
I look forward to book # 5
