Miss Primrose is not the one being punished here, the reader is. Do the math yourself, a minimum of .99 for 26 pages, and 14 more episodes to go if you read this I-V first. Sorry Em, I'm not putting out at least $20.00 to read about her butt being spanked.
This collection is the first five chapters, and they are definitely hot. The scenes are vibrant and build well on each other, and the characters share delicious sexual tension throughout. However, each chapter does begin with some sort of quick refresher - kind of like the intro of a TV show: "Last episode..." - before getting to the good stuff. The only way to know if you love it enough to invest in the next fifteen chapters is to read these first!
The intimate scenes were erotic and steamy, yeah, but the connection with the characters was lacking.
I liked the idea behind the plot, if I could have connected with the characters this would have been a 5 star read.
It just lacked that something that allows me, as the reader, to believe in the story.
The communication between the two main characters is physical and they have trouble with verbal exchanges when it comes to understanding but the dialog is lively and fun at times with references to the classics. My biggest problem with the story is that it ended after only the first day of the seven Miss Primrose agreed to spend with His Lordship with a tease for a later episode.
