I voluntarily read an arc of this book provided via Booksprout for a fair and honest review. Charlotte Byrd is one of my favorite authors and I just recently lost all of her arcs thanks to a kindle reboot so I was thrilled to get this book. Asher is a criminal defense attorney who has now found himself forced to mentor a an intern. Even worse, this intern is the niece of one of the named partners. I will admit I am reviewing while reading and so far most of the book is from Cora’s perspective. We are just-beginning to learn Asher’s back story. After just reading the end of Chapter 15 I must say, call me shocked. In the end, I loved this book, this author never disappoints.
I received this book in advance for my honest review.
I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy for review.
