It wasn’t until I finished reading Pure Bliss that I realized how much all three of the main characters had in common. They’d each found a coping mechanism, one that wasn’t fulfilling and had the potential to get them into trouble, to deal with the loss of the lives they’d envisioned. However, it seemed Hope was the first one to realize what she was doing and start to work on fixing herself. Watching the three of them each come to terms with their pasts and start healing was fantastic.
I loved that we got to check in on all of the other Bliss residents we’ve come to know. It was good to see how the family that is Bliss came together, not only to welcome its prodigal son but also to help protect one of its adopted daughters. Bliss has come to be a place I yearn for, a place full of acceptance and love, the eccentric traits of the town came through vividly in Pure Bliss. Maybe more than any of the previous books, all the things that make the town unique were instrumental in saving its newest trio from themselves and outside forces.
It’s been five years since Noah left town and although the woman that came between him and James is no longer a part of his life. He has regrets about the past and is nervous about returning home but knows that is where he belongs.
Both men want Hope but she has secrets from her past that refuse to stay there. If they are going to have the relationship that they all so desperately want not only will James and Noah need to reconcile their past but they will all need to work together if they are going to escape with their lives.
It is always a pleasure to return to Bliss and reconnect with the characters we know and love. This is a story about healing and new beginnings and there is no doubt that they are stronger together than apart.
Hope McLean is a girl on the run from her past. Can one past help save the past of two others.
When Noah comes home after 5 year James world is turned upside down because he shows up with Hope in his arms. James has promised to take care of Hope. But he also has a thing for Hope. When Dr Caleb says that she needs rest James puts his foot down and demands she stay at Circle G.
But things are not what it seems. Can James get past the hurt is brother leaving did? Can Hope get past her past and accept what they guys can give her? Can Noah make up to the town, and his brother?
In order to find out the answer to these questions please join me in reading this book. I would give it 5/5 stars. Enjoy
This story is about learning to forgive yourself and others for past mistakes, about family of your choosing and, of course, love. Throw in a sociopathic murderer looking to reclaim his “wife” and you have the perfect mix of romance and suspense that Lexi does so well.
I love that you are re-releasing these books, as I'm reading them for the first time and I'm loving them!!!
