The dog was skeptical, the cat watched it for awhile until it came at her then she got apprehensive, hunched her back and backed away from it but then sat and watched it some more. This little thing picked up stuff I couldn't see! I stopped it after running for around 10 minutes. The little dust bin was full! I thought, dang, how much crap am I constantly missing when cleaning? I emptied it 3 more times before the battery died. It does a good job on linoleum. Haven't tried it on my hardwoods yet. It also comes with an extra filter, 4 brushes (it uses 2) and a little card to claim a free gift of 4 more brushes and 2 more filters. My son initially thought it was kinda loud for no bigger than it is but changed his mind after realizing it was a tiny vacuum and seeing how much it picked up. It does make some noise but nowhere near the sound of a regular vacuum cleaner. I suppose it does bump into things a lot but hey, it costs under a hundred bucks so I don't think it's right to complain about that.

I NEVER leave reviews, but I had such a bad experience with this seller that I felt I had to. The product itself worked well for about 3 months. It was a lifesaver because I have a dog that sheds constantly. Unfortunately after a few months the battery could no longer hold a charge. It would charge for hours and hours and when I pressed 'on' it would move about 3 feet and then signal that it was low battery. Clearly a manufacturing error, which happens sometimes.

The problem really began when I tried to reach out to the company on the instruction manual to get the product replaced. First of all, their business hours are extremely limited so if you work 9-5 you need to call during work. There is an option to send an email, which they completely ignore. Second of all, there appears to be only one person working the phone line, and even though the call said I was "next in line" I did not get through to a person for about 15 minutes. When I finally got through, he sounded bored and lazy, spent about 4-6 minutes at a time just looking things up, then told me we can send it back so that the battery can be repaired. When I asked for a turnaround time he just said "uhhhhh...I'm not sure." When I mentioned that this is not a good system, and I am happy to send back the current vacuum but please send another in it's place, he said that's just not what's done. This whole process has been such a pain. I will try to send it back for repair but honestly never expect to get it back. Switching to roomba.

Overall I feel like this was a pretty good little robot vacuum. I have had an expensive Roomba in the past and didn’t like many aspects of it and I got rid of it. This robot vacuum performed just as good as the Roomba except that it didn’t have some of the features that the Roomba had. However, this one is much more affordable.
Pros: good performance in a large house with lots of pet hair and kid mess, decent battery life, slimmer build so that it goes underneath furniture and cabinets without getting stuck, and easy to set up.
Cons: gets stuck in places and shuts off (such as when it goes from tile to an area rug), does not have convenience features such as automatic docking (you have to go find it and plug it in manually), and it does not work on carpet (so you need to make sure the doors to bedrooms and such are closed).

I would recommend this robot vacuum to others with hard floors. It will increase the amount of time in between regular vacuum cleanings.

I found that if I confined it to one room rather than letting it roam freely it does a better job because it goes over the same surfaces several times. I have hardwood floors, no carpets so I can't say if it works on carpeting. It stopped when it needed to be charged. I saw the blue light & unplugged it, but when I went to use it several hours later, it was totally dead & had to be charged again. Not sure if that's a problem. I don't usually keep chargers plugged in constantly. I named him Roman for obvious reasons & I do like him.

I have a huge German Shepherd, (90 lbs, male) who sheds a ton and a siamese cat! I was vacuuming everyday and it was getting to be very tedious. This is one of the best decisions I've made for my household and it makes my life a lot easier.

I didn't need a fancy app or docking station, so it works perfect for us. The suction power is comparable to those vacuums that are much more expensive. It is cheaper because they came out with a newer model of this vacuum and because it doesn't have an app or docking station, which i don't need.

My only con is that it is a bit loud but then again, I have no clue how loud or quiet other vacuums are, since this is my first robo vac. I recommend if you have pets, it gets the pet hair really well. As far as small accent carpets, it gets stuck sometimes on them if they are light and can be folded up easily.

Best purchase I ever made! It saves me so much time during the week and the price is unbeatable. I was skeptical because it is so much cheaper than the other products like it, but I am pleasantly surprised. As long as everything is picked up off the floor it does a great job. I had to charge it for about 2 hours the first time and once it is fully charged it lasts about 45 minutes. I have 3 pets and 3 kids and hard wood floors, so there is a lot to pick up. If I forget to turn it on for a day or 2 I need to empty the canister halfway through, but if I do it every day it can clean the whole floor without needing to be emptied until after. It gets stuck on cords if they are on the floor, so I just make sure to pick them up before turning the vacuum on, but other than that it never gets stuck. Watching it the first few times made me crazy and i almost returned it because it kept cleaning one spot and not getting anywhere else, but after a week it had learned the layout of the house and gets the job done efficiently. I love this vacuum so so so much. buy it.

I bought this to help reduce the times I have to pull out the actual vacuum. I have had some back pain that can make it difficult to do normal every day chores. I read the reviews and decided I would give it a try. It’s definitely not a roomba. It does pick up the cat hair for the most part. However my cats hair like to ball up in small hair balls and the machine went over those spots multiple times and still did not pick them up. It also gets stuck very easily, if you have mats I recommend picking them up. I would say it works best on the kitchen and bathroom floors. After about five minutes of using the machine it started making noises rolling around and it’s pretty loud in general. It doesn’t have an amazingly long run time, but not terrible either. I’m giving a two star review for the lack of cleaning it actually does, sounds, getting stuck all the time.

Tried all the troubleshooting ideas in the manual. Returned it and was issued a replacement. Same problem. I see that others have had this issue as well. So now I save up a bit more and go with a hopefully better name brand version. Also.. the price jumped twice for a total of over $65 in three days from the price of original unit I purchased, the replacement one -if I had ‘bought’ it then and today when I’m returning the second one. Really?? I guess I got a good price but… did I?

I got this lil' robot vacuum on a warehouse deal (which I can assume was a return) and personally, I think it's an awesome product for the price point. I tie up all cords and things from off the floor because I have rabbits anyway, but like with any vacuum, you want to make sure the floor is free of obstruction because it can get stuck on things (and you'll want to clean out the air ways every once and a while). I often will start mine 30 minutes before leaving for work or errands, change the dust bin once quickly before leaving and then turn it back on to do it's thing for the next hour while I'm out. When I get home the floor is clean and free from dust, dirt and pet hair! I will add that there is no docking station or navigation, however the vacuums modes and charger are rather efficient so no need for frills! Also, I got it nearly half a year ago and it still works wonders!
