I purchased the Pure Weighted Throw Blanket with Heat from Amazon to cover my legs while sitting on the couch. I received the throw yesterday and couldn’t wait to use it. I love the thickness and quality of the blanket itself. It is very warm and comfortable. The heat control is simple and easy to use. I love the throw it but it’s a bit too big for my purposes. Because of the large size, I store it after use. Since I must go to the closet to get it, I don’t use it as often as I would like. I would love to have had the option for a smaller size. The throw is nice and cozy but it seems to take a long time to warm up. It may be that it seems to take a long time because of the thickness and plushness of the blanket.
With that said, I do love the blanket. When I plan to settle onto the couch for the night, it’s perfect. I’d still like something for those times when I’m just taking a break and don’t want to go to the closet and unpack/unfold the blanket and then refold/repack after use.

First impression: SUPER SOFT and cuddly. It is also a perfect amount of heavy to satisfy the need for comfort. The size (approximately 4 feet wide by 5 feet long) is perfect for an adult. My 9 year old son has been asking me for a weighted blanket for a few years. He likes pressure on his body when he sleeps. After the first night sleeping with this weighted blanket on him, he said: “I had the best night sleep of my life!”The heat function of this blanket is a major plus in wintertime (I live in Wisconsin, where nights get down to 0 degrees F).The only thing I wish it came with is a removable cover, so that just the cover could be washed in the washing machine. I made one out of some flannel sheets. It’s like a giant pillow case I can slip over the blanket so the actual weighted blanket stays clean. My kid stinks stuff up.The customer service of this company (Pure Enrichment) is fantastic. I can vouch for it because I’ve used it in the past for their humidifiers. They sent me a replacement when I emailed about a problem I was having. They respond very quickly (within a day in my experience). There is a 5 year warranty on this blanket, which is a huge bonus.I highly recommend buying any product from this company (Pure Enrichment), as they have high quality products and excellent customer service.
